About

Urban Fisherman LLC is a black owned small business based in Miami, FL.

I am an avid fisherman who owns a boat and has over 20 years experience catching fish. I am also a Digital Creator for YouTube where I film real-time action when capturing my greatest catch.

This carried over to my main venture of starting a weekend Pop-Up Food Tent, frying fish and barbecuing ribs. I branched out to grilling the barbecue ribs and chicken by using oak wood for a more smoked flavorful taste. My wife cooks side dishes, baking and creates custom crafts. Our Pop-Up Food tent provides an outlet which extends to the local communities in the surrounding areas.

I enjoy grilling and take pride in others enjoying my food. I also offer a variety of homemade sauces, Original BBQ “Julia’s in the Grove” a family secret recipe made by my mother-in law, Spicy Jerk, and Tangy Mustard crafted by me which will be for sale soon. We also offer catering services through-out the year with a wide variety of food options for a variety of cultures to enjoy. Through our catering service, we get a chance to partake in people’s most joyous gatherings as well hosting memorials for those who have lost their loved ones. Food is a remedy to bring people together. While there are different circumstances per gathering, food is the constant. We love to know that we are part of the equation. This variety of food reaches all kinds of demographics from American, Hispanics, Caribbean, Asian, and more. All ages and genders find our food scrumptious and good for the soul. We meet families and people from all walks of life. We also extend our services to charitable donations toward churches, hurricane relief, and local community outreaches. The food prepared and sold comes from a place of love and is very soothing for the soul.
